The fact that President Bola Ahmed Tinubu’s 2025 Democracy Day honourees are 83% (66) from the Southern part of Nigeria and only a mare 17% (11) from the Northern part of the country, confirm him to be an ethnic bigot who has NOT recognised federal character, principles of fairness and equity, operational in the country.

Even in the South, the South West, Tinubu’s home zone dominates it with his tribespeople as the most beneficiaries. Followed by the Ibo tribe, then the rest of the ethnic groups in the region.

The posthumous awardees are 33, out of which 28 are from the South, while ONLY 5 from the North, representing the wide disparity of 92%, and 8%, respectively. 

Even without saying so, the 2025 honours list must go down in the history of honours by Nigeria’s number one citizen as the most one-sided and tribalist. NOT unsurprisingly, it was given by the most BIGOTED and CORRUPT leader in the history of Nigeria.

The 2025 Honourees confirmed the statement made by then ordinary Tinubu that he did “not believe in Nigeria”. Now as the President of the country, he has proven that he still does “not believe in Nigeria”.

The 2025 Democracy Day honours is like the lopsided appointment of directors by the Central Bank of Nigeria (CBN) in March, 2025. In the appointment in question the South got twelve (12) Directors, while the entire North got ONLY four (4) Directors, which represents a staggering 75%-25% respectively.

But just as disturbing, but not unsurprising, is the religious bent employed by the president in awarding the 2025 Democracy Day honours. Only 10 are Muslims, with the rest (53) belonging to believers and non believers of other faiths.

Bishop Hassan Mathew Kukah, who 

took his complaint against the Muslim/Muslim pairing (ticket) of Tinubu/Shettima to the Pope in Rome, is one of the honourees, given a CON (Commander of the Niger) honour.

Professor Wole Soyinka, who declined the honour when he was awarded by former President Goodluck Ebele Jonathan, because the president was allegedly anti democratic, ACCEPTED same from his tribesman, President Tinubu. This goes to confirm what most Nigerian citizens believe, that the professor of Literature and Nobel Laureate, is one big tribal bigot, who ONLY roars with indignation when the subject of his anger is non Yoruba.

Tribe, and the religion of his immediate family may appear to be uppermost in the president’s reckoning, as his tribespeople, and the followers of the faith of the First Lady, Pastor Senator Remi Tinubu, the First Son, Sheyi Tinubu, many of the Tinubu paramours (including Sheyi’s biological mother, who is also a Pastor, and a Profetess, as well as girlfriends. Other deliberate actions of the Nigerian number one citizen, such as the renaming of Abuja University and the sacking of its erstwhile Vice Chancellor, Professor Aisha Maikudi, point to the systemic discrimination against Islam in the country. 

The sacking of Professor Aisha from the position of the Vice Chancellor of what used to be University of Abuja, now renamed Yakubu Gowon University, attracted a huge outcry, and the attention of Concerned Northern Forum (CNF), a Northern group, which called for her immediate reinstatement.

The Nigerian president is billed to undertake an unscheduled visit to Benue State to discuss the state of INSECURITY in the state and  the neighbouring states. According to a State House statement, the president has already dispatched the Secretary to the Government of the Federation (SGF) the National Security Adviser (NSA) and other security chiefs to the state ahead of his arrival. All  the security chiefs, bar the NSA and the DG of National Intelligence Agency (NIA), are followers of non Islamic faith.

But when he paid an official visit to Katsina state, a predominantly Muslim state, the president did not consider it important to visit the neighbouring Zamfara state, also a predominantly Muslim state, where bandits abducted and killed an old (82 years) Imam and most of his family. The bandits were alleged to have tortured three of his grandchildren to death, with him and the parents of the children FORCED to watch. The Imam and the rest of his family were said to be cold bloodily murdered later even after a hefty ransom of N20 million was paid to the bandits.

His friendship with France, noted for her trenchant anti Islamic/Muslims stance, the United Kingdom and the United States, all of them military, diplomatic and financial supporters of Israel, may also inform the president’s not so friendly posture towards Islam/Muslims in Nigeria. He is perceived as a Muslim who does nothing to support the religion and its followers in the country.

It is well known fact that Israel is no friends with Islamic countries, particularly in the Middle East, where the Jewish nation wants to be the only superpower in the region, because of her status as the only nuclear power in the area. France, along with the US and the UK, actively participate in the ongoing armed conflict between Islamic Iran, and Jewish state of Israel, which is in the control of the war-mongering Zionists

 And the Zionists, not unlike many Nigerians, appear to worship money. They go out of their way to acquire lots and lots of it by means fair and foul around the world.

What therefore gives the fears to the Western World appear to be the fact that Nigeria is seen to be one of the emerging economies that could compete with the best economies in the world by the next 30 or so years, because of her huge population, which is expected to grow to about 500 million. Most of Nigeria’s population will be made up by Northerners, majority of whom will be Muslims on account of the fact that Islam allows its male followers to marry up to four (4) wives.

And the religion of Islam forbids wealth which source is doubtful. The acquisition of stupendous amount of money is most often the case over the centuries, especially among the Jewish people in the world. The bug has become so rampant in Nigeria, particularly among the so called political and religious elites in the country.

So rampant that banks and providers of other services arbitrarily increase their charges at will from time to time, and if one should dare to protest, as did the  alias ‘Very Dark Man’, the (EFCC) would be secretly called to illegally arrest one for legitimately demanding for explanation for the unilateral increase. Of course, the supervising ministry or federal government agency will share in the take, which may most likely reach upwards. This is why the protest of the union in charge will remain ineffective, thus remaining un respected, un responded to and unanswered.

The regulatory agencies are ONLY ACTIVE and FURIOUS when the interest of some highly placed individuals is tampered with, otherwise they look the other way when the private organisations do as they want.

Yet, some gluttonous Northerners, whose consumption of the National Cake knows no limit, and whose offsprings betray the lack of the home training to be decent in their public outings, ardently want the president to continue beyond 2027. They may even fight anyone tooth and nail against anybody who as much as shows opposition to the success of the president in the election in the 2027 presidential election.

May God rid the Nigerian society of people who deceitfully make use of religion for their evil worldly ends. Such people deserve neither our confidence nor vote. Well meaning citizens are always open with their people, and tell the truth no matter what it may cost them. Good people should therefore be wary of the deceiving types among them.
